Hi, I'm Jenn

I'm over 50, a mom of two, a writer, creator, and menopause and perimenopause coach. And Midlife with Jenn is my next chapter.

After years of creating lifestyle and fitness content, I realized I didn't want to keep talking about a version of life that no longer felt like mine. I'm over 50 now. My priorities have changed. My body has changed. What I want from life has changed. And honestly, I think that's worth talking about.

My path here hasn't exactly been linear. I spent 10 years in the corporate world before becoming a personal trainer. I then spent about a decade as a lifestyle and fitness influencer, creating content around health, fitness, and everyday life. I've also written about cars and travel, and currently contribute to A Girl's Guide to Cars and She Buys Travel. My personal story has also been featured in Prevention magazine.

But somewhere along the way, life started asking different questions.

Perimenopause and menopause took more of a toll on me than I ever expected. Physically, emotionally, and mentally, I didn't always recognize myself. It forced me to slow down and pay attention to what was actually going on, rather than simply pushing through it.

Through those challenges, I started thinking differently about what matters.

I'm making healthier lifestyle changes, learning more about my body, exploring hormone replacement therapy, and becoming much more intentional about how I spend my time and energy. I also recently became a menopause and perimenopause coach because I know firsthand how confusing this stage of life can be. Sometimes having the right information and someone who understands what you're going through can make all the difference.

Midlife with Jenn is about the bigger picture of this stage of life.

It's about confidence, relationships, health, money, independence, technology, travel, trying new things, and figuring out who you are when you're no longer living primarily for everyone else.

It's about realizing that you don't have to have everything figured out. You can change your mind. You can try something completely different. You can decide that something that worked for you ten years ago doesn't work anymore.

A few things you might not know about me:

  • I drink tea, never coffee.

  • I've lived on both coasts of the United States, and I've traveled to more than 20 countries and 35 states.

  • These days, one of the things I'm most obsessed with is indoor rock climbing, which is perhaps not what you'd expect from someone over 50. That's kind of the point.

  • I dabble in Tarot cards. Not because I have all the answers, but because I like asking better questions.

  • I still love a good adventure, whether that means getting on a plane, trying something completely outside my comfort zone, or simply deciding that I'm not too old to learn something new.

  • And I'm a big believer that getting older doesn't mean your life has to get smaller. It might just mean you finally get to make it more your own.

Welcome to Midlife with Jenn.

If you're over 50 and figuring out what comes next, I hope you'll stick around. We're just getting started.
